"Ukiyoe Immersive Art Exhibition TOKYO" will be held in Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo from Sat, Dec, 21 to Mon, Mar, 31 2025, at  Warehouse TERRADA G1. (Organized by: Ukiyoe Immersive Art Exhibition TOKYO Executive Committee; TV Tokyo, BS TV Tokyo, Nihon Keizai Shimbun, Jiji Press, HITOHATA, TV Aichi)


This event based on more than 300 works by world-famous Ukiyo-e artists such as Katsushika Hokusai, Utagawa Kuniyoshi, Utagawa Hiroshige, Kitagawa Utamaro, Toshusai Sharaku, and Utagawa Kunisada, the museum is an interactive digital art museum where both children and adults can enjoy the world of Ukiyo-e through six 3D video spaces, depicted as graphical digital art works using 3DCG animation and projection mapping.

Photography and video will be available throughout the venue, allowing visitors to dive into the fantastic world of Ukiyo-e and take photographs.

To date, the event has been held in Nagoya, Milan, Italy, and Kagoshima, and has been attended by more than 150,000 visitors.

[About] The museum is based on more than 300 works by world-famous Ukiyo-e artists such as Katsushika Hokusai, Utagawa Kuniyoshi, Utagawa Hiroshige, Kitagawa Utamaro, Toshusai Sharaku, and Utagawa Kunisada, which are depicted as graphical digital art works using 3DCG animation and projection mapping to provide a three-dimensional visual space that can be enjoyed by children and adults alike. Free admission for children under 3 years old.

Crowding is expected on Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays and at the end of the exhibition period, so it is recommended to visit on a weekday or in the first half of the exhibition period.
