HITOHATA, INC. will produce “Ukiyoe Immersive Art Exhibition GIFU,” which will be held from Friday, November 6, 2026 to Monday, January 11, 2027, at Gifu City Museum of History, 1st Floor, Special Exhibition Room (inside Gifu Park) (Organized by: Ukiyoe Immersive Art Exhibition GIFU Executive Committee (Gifu City, The Gifu Shimbun, Gifu Broadcasting System, HITOHATA, TV Aichi)).

“Ukiyoe Immersive Art Exhibition” is an immersive digital art museum where visitors can experience the world of Ukiyo-e through multiple three-dimensional visual spaces.More than 300 works by world-renowned Ukiyo-e masters such as Katsushika Hokusai, Utagawa Kuniyoshi, Utagawa Hiroshige, Kitagawa Utamaro, Toshusai Sharaku, and Utagawa Kunisada are brought to life as graphical digital art using 3DCG animation and projection mapping, creating an experience that can be enjoyed by both adults and children.

Photography and video recording are allowed throughout the venue, so visitors can immerse themselves in the fantastical world of Ukiyo-e and capture their own images within it.

Please enjoy this limited-time immersive exhibition where masterpieces of Ukiyo-e, which continue to captivate audiences across generations and around the world, come vividly to life.

[Exhibition Content]

This immersive digital art museum presents the world of ukiyo-e through multiple three-dimensional projection spaces, created using 3DCG animation and projection mapping, and based on over 300 works by leading ukiyo-e artistsincluding Katsushika Hokusai, Utagawa Kuniyoshi, Utagawa Hiroshige, Kitagawa Utamaro, Toshusai Sharaku, and Utagawa Kunisada.

In addition to this, “Ukiyoe Immersive Art Exhibition GIFU” features exclusive venue content where ukiyo-e depictions of Oda Nobunaga and cormorant fishing come to life.
