IMMERSIVE SHOW

Okazaki Castle Ninomaru Noh Theater Digital Art × Noh

"Okazaki Castle Ninomaru Noh Theater Digital Art × Noh" produced by HITOHATA,INC.

Set in the Ninomaru Noh Theater of Okazaki Castle, the birthplace of Tokugawa Ieyasu, a 3D projection was held that fused Noh, a traditional performing art representing Japan with over 600 years of history and a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage, and digital art images.

Taking advantage of the structure of a traditional Noh stage, a 3D projection that links the digital art image on the hologram screen in front of the stage, the digital art image on the background panel with the old pine tree drawn, and the Noh performance on the main stage. Through the production, we have created a new art space that harmonizes traditional Japanese culture and cutting-edge digital technology.
