“Ukiyoe Immersive Art Exhibition” is an immersive, experiential digital art museum based on more than 300 works by world-renowned ukiyo-e artists such as Katsushika Hokusai, Utagawa Kuniyoshi, Utagawa Hiroshige, Kitagawa Utamaro, Toshusai Sharaku, and Utagawa Kunisada. Rendered as graphical digital artworks through 3DCG animation and projection mapping, they invite visitors of all ages to immerse themselves in the world of ukiyo-e across multiple three-dimensional visual spaces.

*The Ukiyoe Immersive Art Exhibition received the Award of Excellence in the Project Category at the CJPF Awards 2025, organized by the Cool Japan Public-Private Partnership Platform (secretariat: Intellectual Property Strategy Promotion Office, Cabinet Office of Japan). It also won Gold in the “Experiential & Immersive – Exhibition Experience” category at the MUSE Creative Awards 2026, an international creative awards program organized by the International Awards Associate (IAA).

[About]
An immersive, experiential digital art museum based on more than 300 works by world-renowned ukiyo-e artists such as Katsushika Hokusai, Utagawa Kuniyoshi, Utagawa Hiroshige, Kitagawa Utamaro, Toshusai Sharaku, and Utagawa Kunisada. Rendered as graphical digital artworks through 3DCG animation and projection mapping, they invite visitors of all ages to immerse themselves in the world of ukiyo-e across multiple three-dimensional visual spaces. Alongside the digital displays, the exhibition also presents celebrated ukiyo-e prints from the Edo period as well as modern reproductions, with commentary on the history of ukiyo-e, the culture of Edo, and the artists themselves.
Beyond exploring the artistic value of ukiyo-e in depth, the exhibition offers accessible explanations of Edo culture, including the daily life and pastimes of the period.
