"Ukiyoe Immersive Art Exhibition OSAKA" was held in OSAKA from Sat, Jan. 17 to Sat, Mar. 14 ,2026, at GRAND FRONT OSAKA North Building Knowledge Capital Event Lab(3-1 Ofuka-cho, Kita-ku, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture). Based on more than 300 works by world-famous Ukiyo-e artists such as Katsushika Hokusai, Utagawa Kuniyoshi, Utagawa Hiroshige, Kitagawa Utamaro, Toshusai Sharaku, and Utagawa Kunisada, the museum was an interactive digital art museum where both children and adults enjoyed the world of Ukiyo-e through 9 3D video spaces, depicted as graphical digital artworks using 3DCG animation and projection mapping.
The Ukiyoe Immersive Art Exhibition received the Excellence Award in the Project Category at the CJPF Awards 2025, organized by the Cool Japan Public-Private Partnership Platform (CJPF), administered by the Intellectual Property Strategy Promotion Office, Cabinet Secretariat of Japan. Also we won the Gold Award in the “Experiential & Immersive - Exhibition Experience” category at the international creative awards “MUSE Creative Awards 2026.”[organized Awards Association (IAA)]

The museum was based on more than 300 works by world-famous Ukiyo-e artists such as Katsushika Hokusai, Utagawa Kuniyoshi, Utagawa Hiroshige, Kitagawa Utamaro, Toshusai Sharaku, and Utagawa Kunisada, which were depicted as graphical digital artworks using 3DCG animation and projection mapping to provide a three-dimensional visual space that could be enjoyed by children and adults alike. It was a digital art museum where visitors immersed themselves in the world of Ukiyo-e through the use of 3DCG animation and projection mapping.
