“Ukiyoe Immersive Art Exhibition TAIPEI,” produced by HITOHATA Inc. (CEO: Takeaki Higashiyama), was held from Saturday, July 5 to Sunday, October 6, 2025, at Songshan Cultural and Creative Park (Taipei, Taiwan). (Organizer: Firenze Cultural & Creative Co., Ltd.)
“Ukiyoe Immersive Art Exhibition” is an immersive digital art museum that brings the world of ukiyo-e to life using over 300 works by world-renowned ukiyo-e artists such as Katsushika Hokusai, Utagawa Kuniyoshi, Utagawa Hiroshige, Kitagawa Utamaro, Toshusai Sharaku, and Utagawa Kunisada. Through dynamic 3DCG animation and projection mapping, visitors of all ages can enjoy graphic digital artworks across seven immersive video installations.
The Ukiyoe Immersive Art Exhibition received the Excellence Award in the Project Category at the CJPF Awards 2025, organized by the Cool Japan Public-Private Partnership Platform (CJPF), administered by the Intellectual Property Strategy Promotion Office, Cabinet Secretariat of Japan. Also we won the Gold Award in the “Experiential & Immersive - Exhibition Experience” category at the international creative awards “MUSE Creative Awards 2026.”[organized Awards Association (IAA)]

[Overview]
Based on over 300 works by globally acclaimed ukiyo-e artists such as Katsushika Hokusai, Utagawa Kuniyoshi, Utagawa Hiroshige, Kitagawa Utamaro, Toshusai Sharaku, and Utagawa Kunisada, this immersive art museum offers graphic digital artworks using 3DCG animation and projection mapping. Across seven immersive video installations, visitors can fully experience the world of ukiyo-e.
In addition to digital works, the exhibition also features original ukiyo-e prints from the Edo period and high-quality reproductions. These displays include explanations of the history of ukiyo-e, Edo-period culture, and the lives of the artists.
