HITOHATA,INC. produced “Ukiyoe Immersive Art Exhibition TAIPEI,” which was held from Sat, Jul 5, to Mon, Oct 6, 2025 at Songshan Cultural and Creative Park, Warehouse No. 1 (No. 133, Guangfu South Road, Xinyi District, Taipei City) in Taipei, Taiwan. “Ukiyoe Immersive Art Exhibition” is an immersive, experiential digital art museum based on more than 300 works by world-renowned ukiyo-e artists such as Katsushika Hokusai, Utagawa Kuniyoshi, Utagawa Hiroshige, Kitagawa Utamaro, Toshusai Sharaku, and Utagawa Kunisada. Rendered as graphical digital artworks through 3DCG animation and projection mapping, they invited visitors of all ages to immerse themselves in the world of ukiyo-e across seven three-dimensional visual spaces.

*The Ukiyoe Immersive Art Exhibition received the Award of Excellence in the Project Category at the CJPF Awards 2025, organized by the Cool Japan Public-Private Partnership Platform (secretariat: Intellectual Property Strategy Promotion Office, Cabinet Office of Japan). It also won Gold in the “Experiential & Immersive – Exhibition Experience” category at the MUSE Creative Awards 2026, an international creative awards program organized by the International Awards Associate (IAA).

An immersive, experiential digital art museum based on more than 300 works by world-renowned ukiyo-e artists such as Katsushika Hokusai, Utagawa Kuniyoshi, Utagawa Hiroshige, Kitagawa Utamaro, Toshusai Sharaku, and Utagawa Kunisada. In addition to the digital works, the exhibition also displayed renowned ukiyo-e prints made in the Edo period along with high-quality reproductions, together with explanations of the history of ukiyo-e, Edo-period culture, and the lives of the artists.
