"Okazaki Castle Projection Mapping" produced by HITOHATA,INC. was held at Okazaki Castle (Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture) from Saturday, January 8th to Monday, January 10th, 2022.

Projection mapping of Okazaki City's culture and traditions, such as the important cultural property, Daijuji Daihojo Barrier Painting of Reizei Tamechika, and Mikawa Fireworks, was performed at the birthplace of Ieyasu Tokugawa, the 100 Fine Castles of Japan.

At the same time, projection mapping was performed at the front entrance of Okazaki Castle at the main gate with a width of 16.4 meters and a height of 11 meters, and at Shinkyo Bridge facing Okazaki Castle in front.

* Projection mapping was performed at the same time at Otemon and Shinkyo.

[Details] Digital art content with the theme of Okazaki City's culture and traditions, such as the 100 fine castles of Japan, the castle tower of Okazaki Castle, the birthplace of Ieyasu Tokugawa, and the important cultural property, Reizei Tamechika Daijuji Daihojo Barrier Painting and Mikawa Fireworks. About Okazaki Castle

Okazaki Castle is famous as the castle where Ieyasu Tokugawa was born.

In 1959, the castle tower was rebuilt into a three-story, five-story building, and in 2006 it was selected as one of the 100 Fine Castles of Japan.

The inside of the castle is a history museum with themes divided for each floor, and the history of Okazaki Castle is introduced through exhibits and diorama theaters. From the observation room on the 5th floor, you can overlook the city of Okazaki, and you can take a commemorative photo with the face panel.
