"National Historic Site Saiku Heian Emaki Projection Mapping 2023" produced by HITOHATA,INC. was held at Saiku Heian no Mori (Meiwa-machi, Taki County, Mie Prefecture) on November 3 (Fri., holiday) and 5 (Sun.), 2023. (Sponsored by Meiwa Kanko Shosha, a general incorporated association.)

This event was held in the main hall, east side hall, and west side hall of "Saiku Heian no Mori," which is located at the site of the former Saiku Palace, the national historic site where the Saio once lived.

In conjunction with the projection mapping, "Saiku Night Market," where visitors could enjoy gourmet foods and sweets unique to Meiwa Town, and "Saiku Heian no Mori Digital Light-up," which was illuminated the "Saiku Heian no Mori" with fantastic lights, was held at the same time. (18:00-21:00)

In addition, from 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 5, 2023, a mini live performance by singer Nanase Aikawa and projection mapping was performed in collaboration as the opening performance.

[Detail] The Saikyu Palace is located in the Saikyu Site, a national historic site where the Saio lived in the past. The images were projected on the screen. In conjunction with the projection mapping, "Saiku Night Market," where visitors could enjoy gourmet foods and sweets unique to Meiwa Town, and "Saiku Heian no Mori Digital Light-up" was held at the same time, illuminating the "Saiku Heian no Mori" with fantastic lights. (6:00pm-9:00pm)

The first ever grand projection mapping event at Sensoji Temple was held, along with special daytime and nighttime viewings of the scenic Denpoin Garden and Emadou Hall, which are normally closed to the public, for the first time in seven years. Over 150,000 people visited the projection mapping over the five days.
