The 'Okazaki Castle 1645 Metaverse x Okafuru' is a metaverse content 'Okazaki Castle 1645 EVOLUTION', a 3DCG reconstruction based on a diorama of Okazaki Castle circa 1645 on the virtual space platform 'DOOR' provided by NTT ConoQ, with PR content from the Okazaki City EC mall This metaverse content includes PR content for the Okafuru e-commerce mall in Okazaki City.

Visitors can experience in a virtual space the former Okazaki Castle, which is said to have been one of the largest castles in Japan in the early modern period.

About the Aichi Prefecture Smart City Model Project

This is a project in which Aichi Prefecture commissions proposed municipalities to implement projects that can serve as models for smart city initiatives, and horizontally deploys the results throughout Aichi Prefecture by holding results reporting meetings, etc. The project has been implemented since FY2022.

In FY2023, seven municipalities were selected: Okazaki, Kariya, Nisshin, Koda, Kasugai, Gamagori and Obu.
