A special lecture by Ukiyoe navigator Masumi Horiguchi will be held as a related event of the "Ukiyoe Immersive Art Exhibition NAGOYA"

Masumi Horiguchi, the Ukiyoe navigator for the "Ukiyoe Immersive Art Exhibition NAGOYA", will visit Nagoya on Saturday 5 August for a special lecture, "A little knowledge of daily life in Edo — to enjoy the Ukiyoe Immersive Art Exhibition even more deeply", to be held at the ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Grand Court Nagoya.

Masumi Horiguchi

Born in Adachi Ward, Tokyo. She is active as a history TV personality, history writer and researcher of Edo customs. In 2008 she became the youngest person at the time to obtain first grade in the Edo Culture and History Test. She is also deeply versed in ukiyo-e and holds membership of the International Ukiyo-e Society. Known as "Oedo-ru Hoolii", the TV personality who knows a little too much about Edo, she works energetically on television programmes, writing, events and lectures, and is also an active Edo-focused YouTuber.
