The Ieyasu and Mikawa Bushi Museum Samurai Armor Projection Mapping

Fri, Dec 24, 2021 - Mon, Jan 10, 2022

The Iyeyasu and Mikawa Bushi Museum

"The Ieyasu and Mikawa Bushi Museum Samurai Armor Projection Mapping" produced by HITOHATA,INC. will be held from December 24, 2021 (Friday) to January 10, 2022 (Monday), at The Ieyasu and Mikawa Bushi Museum (Okazaki, Aichi Prefecture).

A modern projection mapping image was projected on the original samurai armor with a height of 2m installed at the entrance of the historical museum "The Iyeyasu and Mikawa Bushi Museum" in Okazaki Park, the birthplace of Tokugawa Ieyasu.

The original samurai armor was created with the motif of the samurai armor "Iyozane kuroito odoshi domaru gusoku", which is said to have been worn by Ieyasu Tokugawa during the Battle of Sekigahara. We challenged to produce a complex projection mapping that combines projection on armor and projection that makes full use of the rear projection screen.
