"The Ieyasu and Mikawa Bushi Museum Tokugawa Ieyasu Armor Projection Mapping" will be held at The Ieyasu and Mikawa Bushi Museum (Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture) from March 23, 2024 (Saturday) to July 7, 2024 (Sunday), produced by HITOHATA,INC. (Organizer: Okazaki Public Service Corporation)

This event commemorates the renovation of “The Ieyasu and Mikawa Bushi Museum,” a historical museum in Okazaki Park, the birthplace of Tokugawa Ieyasu, and features a replica of the armor “Kin dami gusoku” that Tokugawa Ieyasu is said to have worn in the prelude to the Battle of Okehazama, as well as a projection mapping image of Okazaki City and Tokugawa Ieyasu, which is displayed on the first floor Ieyasu-kan Theater. The projection mapping image of Okazaki City and Tokugawa Ieyasu will be projected on the replica of Kin dami gusoku.

Please come and enjoy this exhibition together with the “The Ieyasu and Mikawa Bushi Museum,” which was renovated after the end of the Taiga Drama Pavilion.

・Public transportation: 15 minutes walk from Meitetsu “Higashi Okazaki Station”.

15 minutes on foot from “Naka Okazaki Station” of Aichi Loop Railway

From Meitetsu “Higashi-Okazaki Station”, take bus No.4 via “Kosei-cho”, get off at “Kosei-cho” and walk about 5 minutes.

From JR Okazaki Station, take the bus bound for “Kosei-cho”, get off at “Kosei-cho” and walk about 5 minutes.

・Car: From Tomei Expressway “Okazaki IC”, approx. 3 km toward Nagoya

Parking fee: 7:00-22:00 150 yen/30 min. 22:00-7:00 the next day 50 yen/30 min.

*Parking is available for 24 hours with a maximum charge of 1,500 yen.

[Admission] Adults (junior high school students and older): 400 yen Children (5 years old and older): 200 yen

Adults (junior high school students and older) 650 yen, Children (5 years old and older) 320 yen.

[Details] In commemoration of the renovation of The Ieyasu and Mikawa Bushi Museum, the historical museum in Okazaki Park where Tokugawa Ieyasu was born, a replica of the armor Kin dami gusoku that Tokugawa Ieyasu is said to have worn in the prelude to the Battle of Okehazama is installed in the Ieyasu-kan Theater on the first floor, and projection mapping images of Okazaki City and Tokugawa Ieyasu are projected on the armor.
