"TOKYO CREATIVE SALON 2023", "SHIBUYA FASHION WEEK 2023 spring", and "Cola Scroll Under the Bridge", with the cooperation of HITOHATA,INC., will be held from Saturday, March 25th to Friday, March 31st, 2023, in front of the East Exit of Shibuya Station, under the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line overpass (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo).

"TOKYO CREATIVE SALON" is a major festival that brings together fashion and art events that were held in each area, with the aim of positioning Tokyo as one of the fashion cities after Paris, Milan, New York, and London. The fourth "TOKYO CREATIVE SALON 2023" will be held as a festival open to all consumers, focusing on two fields that are essential to daily life: fashion and design.

As part of the "SHIBUYA FASHION WEEK 2023 spring" event, which is part of "TOKYO CREATIVE SALON," where visitors can enjoy walking around the city and appreciate the exhibited works, a projection mapping event titled "Cola Scroll Under the Bridge" will be held under the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line elevated railway at the Shibuya Station East Exit Square.

HITOHATA,INC. will cooperate with this program and provide the projection mapping technology.

About "FASHIONART"

DESIGNART, which transcends the boundaries of various genres and disseminates the wonderfulness of things and events linked to design and art, produces the event "FASHIONART," where you can enjoy walking around the city and appreciate the exhibited works centered on fashion and art. We connect artists and places, and utilize commercial facilities, street shops, and unused spaces to exhibit a wide variety of art.

About "Chorus Scroll Under the Bridge"

Elementary school students in Tokyo and artists sang the copyright-free choral song "Tsubasa wo Kudasai" and recorded it. Based on the sound source, characters and animation videos were created, and the chorus and the characters' bodies were synchronized. In addition, AR was created to float the characters on the streets of Shibuya. AR markers will be posted on bulletin boards in specific neighborhoods within Shibuya Ward. The characters fly through the sky, feeling the overlap and blurring of the city of Shibuya and the chorus, and the difficulty of leaving the place. By looking up at the empty space of the city called the sky, the ground and the sky are inverted, and by joining the chorus being sung, the characters and the viewer resonate with each other. This video work is a projection work that is a spin-off of the AR work presented at AUGMENTED SITUATION D, an urban wandering exhibition using XR held at CCBT.
